Height and Weight: 5’ 11” 175lbs

Attire: Black and purple hot topic tripp paints with black chains and handcuffs the. Black shirt with a purple star of David on it. A dog collar around his neck and a necklace of dog beads. He ear a long trench coat with two huge holes in the back of it to allow his wings to come through in case he has need of them. There are also two small slits on the top of his coat that his two swords poke through for easy access and on the inner side of the front of his coat are two self made leather holsters for his two guns. He also has two unused holsters on his back which are connected to his sword sheaths that way is he ever wants to carry two extra guns or sheath his main two behind him he can.

Primary abilities:
Psychokinetic Mimicry: Mimics others’ powers require physical contact. Mimic will reset to his natural state when her plane of consciousness deepens (sleep, concussion, and anesthesia). His powers allow him to copy the powers of anyone he touches. As he masters his power he will be able to pick and choose which powers will be dominant and which powers he will not use (so if he touched let’s say a mutant who had a healing factor and super human strength the powers will both kick in and will come and go at due to a somewhat uncontrolled state but once he masters this ability he will be able to only take either the strength or the healing ability from this person). As for his limitations Mimic can only use up to 5 different powers at a time.

Animal Empathy:
Mimic can speak with any and all animals. If the animal happens to be from another planet all he has to do is touch it to absorb its language.

Wings:
He has no idea why he has solid black wings nor does he have any memory of his life before the day he awoke. He tested his wings and though they indeed work he can only fly for 10 miles before he grows tired. He has been training himself to use them more on a daily basis in hopes that he can build up a strength and stamina strong enough to carry him 2 or 3 times the distance he can travel now. He usually keeps them folded up under his trench coat unless he feel comfortable with those around him.

Equipment:
Carries a sword but favors guns over all weaponry. He’s an expert marksmen and is often found doing target practice with his favored twin 6MM handguns with laser sights. He always carrys anywhere from 8-10 clips on her per gun and has them strapped into a ammo holster under his leather jacket. The sword or swords of preference are just simply two katanas.

And lastly he carries around 4 smoke grenades, 2 grenades and one flash grenade.

History:
Mimic doesn’t remember anything from his past. All he recalls is being somewhere and then waking up in a strange room tied to a table with things blowing up all around him. As the room clasped around him he heard a few screams when his table caught fire and burned one of his arm straps he broke free and ran for his life. He isn’t sure if he always had his powers or even his wings he doesn’t even remember his own name. So as he walked through the woods he figured since he could not remember his life it was time to make himself a new one.

The day turned to night and as he searched for a place to take refuge he was attacked by a huge grizzly bear. Raising his hands in defense as his wings automatically responded to his minds fear, just before he could take off one of the bears paws slammed down at his and brushed his skin barely slashing him. To his surprise he was able to take the bears growls and decipher them into words. He smiled and took delight in his new found ability and made the bear his newest ally.
He gave himself the name mimic later after running into a weird guy he looked as lost as he did. The man was setting the woods a blaze with fire from his hands. Mimics new bear friend took off to stop the flamed menace and the man surrounded it with a fiery circle of death. Mimic took off to aid his friend and leapt onto the pyros back as he took aim to punch the man in the face to his astonishment, much like before, his hand seemed to charge an unknown energy and within a instant he shoot hot flames into the mans face. The man freaked out and screamed then ran off into the distance.

From then on he knew that he had to use his gifts to aid those who would need them most because if he didn’t innocents both human and animal alike could be in danger and in time maybe he would find some clues as to who he really was and where he came from.

Name: Jay Avris

Nickname: Jay, she doesn't think of fancy little nick names to call herself, but others have called her Jaybird. Under no circumstances does she like being called Birdie.

Power/Skills/Training: Jay is an Avian American as she calls herself. She has two very large blue bird colored wings that grow right out of her shoulders. With these comes the ability to fly and she has pushed herself to go great distances with out stopping. She also has the ability to talk to birds, though she talks to them aloud and they talk back through beak clicks and whistles, hoots, or shreaks (often at this time people think she's talking to herself). She Has sharp hearing and vision like a hawk, but this back fires often when loud sharp noises are around, such as a pan kitting a hard floor. She dislikes loud noises but can put up with them.
She's never had any form of strict training but has grown up on the streets so will us anything around her to her advantage. She doesn't stop trying once she's gotten to doing something.

Equipment: She doesn't carry around a lot of equipment since it would weigh her down in flight and take time and speed off her flying time. But she usually hangs out with a flock of birds or at least one (her friend, Fidget.) These birds would gladly help her if she asked, mostly because half of them owe her favors. She does carry a short iron bar she picked up on the streets the fit in her belt loop that she would use if confronted.

Appearance: (Height, Weight, Build, Eye color, Hair color, Clothes, etc. This is where you put pictures if you have any.) Jay is about 6 foot tall, and only 150 pounds. Her hair is shoulder length and dark brown with black dyed tips. She has blue eyes and usually cocks her head in a bird like fashion because she's been hanging out with them so long.
Jay usually wears a pair of jeans with a rip in the knee and a t-shirt with carefully cut out holes for wings. She some times covers her wings with a gray and black jacket and is a master at pulling the jacket off in a hurry to get into the sky.

Date of Birth: October, 13, 1993

Gender: Female.

History: When Jay was little she had small growth on her shoulders that grew into wings. Her parents told her they were fine and nothing to be worried of though they secretly worried, and Jay decided to try testing em. Then when she was ten, they decided to go out and leave Jay home alone for the first time and were killed in a car wreck. When officials came to pick jay up she had flown off and went to the nearest park where she spent the night. She later flew around getting what she needed and befriending a few birds as she discovered the power to talk to them. She often has them go get her things like food from stores and from peoples picnics since she doesn't get caught.

Legal Status: (Are you a registered super? Are you a licensed super? Are you a DSE Agent? Are you a police Officer? Are you enlisted?(If so what is your current rank?) Do you have citizenship in any countries? Do you have a Criminal Record?) She's not a registered super, and not under any criminal lists. She hangs out in parks and in back alleys just trying to survive and breaking up what alley fights she can along the way.

Her closest friend is a blue bird named Fidget, he has one eye due to a cat attack and is there for some what blind. Fidget is like Jay's little concience, always trying to help and keep her relativly out of trouble, but not always succeeding.

Mimic had been lost for sometime now and though he may not have a place to call home he found joy in traveling the country. He had just stumbled upon a city they called Jump City, it seemed to be a fairly nice place to live aside from what seemed to be an infestation of criminals. He took seat on the roof top of the local new paper building as he watched the streets below. His hair was shinning in the moonlight as he ruffled it while thinking. He saw a woman heading down a dark alley way and decided he should pay closer attention just in case some moron decided to take advantage of the situation. Dropping his right hand from his head he smiled. His wings ruffled under his black leather trench coat as they pushed their way through the upper holes of the coat.

With a light flap of his wings Mimic lifted of the rooftop momentarily then landed in a crouch so he could take a readied position if needed. While he waited he double checked his arsenal his two guns lay strapped to the holsters on his hips and 20 clips of ammo filled the inside of his coat along with 5 miscellaneous grenades. His twin swords were strapped securely to his back with the hilts protruding out the top of his coat just as his wings now were.

The night was brisk and had a slight breeze they sky was nice and clear and full of brilliant stars. "Such a nice night would be a shame to have to waste it." As the lady entered her home from the alley way Mimic stood and walked to the opposite side of the roof so he could take his leave and head off to a different part of the city.

Jay sighed as she fluffed her wings again under her jacket. She sat alone in a qiute part of the park listening to her friend complain that they should head out to warmer areas again.
"Fidget for the last I'm I am not going to a place where I can't speak the language." Jay said again as she cast the blue jay a annoyed look.
"Ok, fine. But you could always gt the local birds to teach us the language!" Fidget tried once more.
"You know as well as I do Mexican birds speak Spanish, just like the people," Jay sighed, "besides, if you wanna go you can."
"And if I left you, you'd die!" Fidget chirped back.
Jay laughed. She probably wouldn't die but she would miss the little loud mouth.
She looked up from the tree they were perched in and tried to find the north star to navigate.
"Hey Fidget?" She asked without looking his way.
"What- oh, don't tell me you lost it again!" he said as he noticed her looking at the sky.
"Yeap."
"She, this is why you'd die, you'd get lost and die!" Fidget ruffled his feathers and looked up crookedly at the stars with his one eye, finding the north star and pointing with his beak,"There, there it is."
"Ok, come on, we're doing a bit of night flying, I wanna go see if we can find some food."
"Food? well, you got my interest."
Jay smirked to herself and pulled off her gray and black cotton jacket and stretched her long blue bird colored wings. She jumped to the ground and took a running start and took to the air and headed into town to go see what they could find to eat, sailing on the updrafts from the buildings and coasting most of the way to save energy and looking over the ground to see what stores where still open.
SHe spotted a all you can eat buffet and landed on the roof and looked over at Fidget. They had done this qiute a few times so they knew the drill.
Fidget flew into the open window and carefully plotted what he could take off with. then he snatched the food and flew out the window again and then Jay and him split the spoils. They would hit as many places as possable before some one would get the hint that there was some one with a trained bird hitting stores.

Mimic looked down below before leaping from his current position. He spots what appears to be a small girl sitting near an open window of a restaurant he watches her closely and decides to take a closer look. "I wonder what shes up to down there?"

Using his wings he glides down from the rooftop and lands silently 5 feet from her. Then with his most un-startling voice he could muster he spoke to her. "Um what are you doing?" His long black and white striped hair was tasseled by the wind along with his trench coat's long tail. His dark black wings folded nicely behind him and slightly fidgeted from time to time like an anxious cats tail.

Jay froze and stiffened at the sound of some one behind her then slowly relaxed, I have my jacket on, he can' see my wings, everythings cool.
Jay cleared her throat a bit to try not to sound jumpy,"I was uh waiting for a friend, but I don't see them." She turned and looked at the stranger and froze once again as her eyes fell on his large black wings, Where did he- Ok, maybe its just a coincidence. He may be nothing like you. Jay forced herself to look away from the wings and back to the person, this was a bit odd.
"What are you doing? Just happen to like the idea of strapping on some fake wings or something for a show?" she asked trying to give Fidget enough time to get out of there.
Suddenly there was a crash and cooks started yelling about a bird taking off with there food and a blue streak took off out the window. Jay qiuckly pulled off her jacket and stretched her long wings hitting the stranger in the chest to keep him off there trails.
"Come on, lets get out of here!" Jay shouted to her small blue bird friend who still had a waffle clutched in his beak.

Stunned momentarily by the girls sudden removal of her jacket and revealing that she has giant blue wings forced Mimic to jump back a bit and with a extra flap of his own wings he moved himself out of the direct contact from her desperate strike towards him. "Hey now thats not nice besides I was only being friendly."

He smirked as she took off into the sky and ran towards the building he had just jumped from earlier. He leapt into the air and lifted himself to the rooftop once again so he could use a more elevated area for a quicker and faster method to a speedier take off point than that which his new prey had taken.

From the rooftop he would not only most likely either be higher than her current position but we wouldn't have to waste time with a messy take off and could just use the currents from the air to glide and lift his weight for him. "It always pays to have brains and brawn." He said just as he lifted into the sky he allowed the wind to take his 10 feet higher as he positioned in closer towards her. Just as he was nearly directly on top of her he tucked his wings a bit and soared into a huge dive. his speed was close to 30mph with an almost free fall. Though his speed was indeed fast all he would have to do is un-tuck his huge wings and bend them forward in order to catch all the wind completely and he would slow enough to land with authority but he wouldn't break anything.

Before he got close enough that he could simply tackle her in mid air he called out. "You know theft is not the way to survive. Oh and these wings are not for show."

Jay looked back quickly and tucked her wings in and barrel rolled to the side just in time to miss the main tackle but get hit with his wings. Dang it! This guy is fast! Ok, he's fast but he may not be smart or have to connections you do. Jay thought, she also reached to her side and felt the iron bar she always carried. It was crude, yes, but it worked it a scrape if one happened, like now.
She pulled it out and swerved into her more preferred alley for a fight. It was badly lite but between her far better eye sight and Fidget helping her, she would manage, she smirked to herself. She didn't know how well this new guy would fair though. She would beat him around a bit find out where the wings came from and then leave as qiuckly and silently as possable leaving him in the dark, or that was the plan.
"Ok, buster, I don't know where you came from or anything about you but I wasn't stealing anything!" Jay started, she clanked the bar on the ground and spread her wings slightly ready for a fight.

After his plunge missed he smiled and opened his wings full mast and allowed them to fill with the updraft of the wind. He was lifted 20 feet into the air and with short long flaps he began to lower himself steadily. "Well this is fun. You do know you can not escape me don't you birdgirl?" He laughed a bit at the thought of her being related to someone like the heroes he had read about in a museum with in the city.

Mimic followed her as she swooped into a nearby alley. He landed just outside of the alleys entrance as he heard something hard hit the ground. He chuckled to himself and watched her land. "What you actually think I'm coming in there after you? I could simply shoot that little blue jay of yours out of the sky. But then again I don't kill animals that haven't done me wrong."

Mimic looked towards the little blue bird and with his animal empathy he spoke to it. "Hi I know i don't know you name but maybe you could tell your little friend over there to stop this all before she gets hurt?" Mimics voice was playful and he smiled as he talked to the small bird. His wings folded back up and hung gently behind him in case of the need to be used again he dare not fold them back under his coat.

Jay clenched her fists around the pole she was holding and yelled at the stranger," You threaten my friends again and you won't have those feathers much longer!"
"Uhm, Jay, maybe you should wait a minute, I think he just wants to talk." Fidget said to her looking him over with his one eye.
Jay turned her glare to the bird accusingly then back at the stranger. "No."
"Jay, he has guns, and you have a stick." Fidget reasoned, now looking over to Jay as if she had lost her mind.
Jay squeezed the bar in her hand and tapped it a few times on the cement, unsure. "Fine, I'll listen, but he stays there, I stay here."
"Jay, do you really think that's fair?"
"No, now go ahead and ask if I care." Jay stubbornly crossed her arms and stayed where she was, her wings still ready to take off at any given second and try to out fly this guy again.
What got into Fidget that he's suddenly all nice to the guy who just chased us from our meal?

He smiles as he watched the two conversate. "You know you should listen to your little friend there. Blue jays are very defensive so if he thinks you should relax perhaps you should." He pulled his trench coat forward and drew up the slack so he was free to move as he saw fit. "You know I haven't met anyone else who can talk to animals. Is this your only friend?"

He looked to the sky and smiled as he spotted a few of his own he had recently made while in the city. He used them to aid him in scouting out the area, besides who knew a city better than those who flew above it every day. "Jack! Jake! Get down her guys lend me a hand why don't ya? Or were you going to just sit and watch?" The two large crows swooped down from the above power line and came to rest on his shoulders. "So guys what do you think?"

Jay glared at this person, she felt a bit betrayed by her own friends, though she didn't know these birds, she had known Fidget since his inncedent with the cat and now he was on this guys team.
"No, he's not my only friend," Jay answered simply to his first question, then shrugged to the to crows though he couldn't see.
She hadn't felt relaxed enough to put away her metal bar and continued to tap it against the cement lightly, nervously.
Fidget eyed the crows a bit nervously then seemed to settle down a bit though he flew over and landed on Jay's wing. Jay glared at him, though it was at his blind side so he didn't see it.

"Come on now don't be mad at your friend." He smiled and stepped forward once. the two crows cawed loudly. "I know I know she has that little thing on the ground still." He sighed and turned his back to her then began to walk away. "Look just never mind and just so you know I can talk to all animals not just birds. But with an attitude like yours I can see why your on your own well aside from him that is." His left wing bottom lifted and pointed at Fidget.

"Well if you decide to quit stealing food and want to talk to someone look me up. Im staying in the abandon building at the end of 5th street maybe I'll see ya sometime. Good luck." His large black wings began to flap slowly and expanded to fully as they lifted him gently into the air just a few feet from the ground. The two crows still sat safely on his shoulders awaiting their ride back to their home.

Jay felt a bit hurt, but he was right, she was putting up a really bad attitude towards him. SHe looked at the metal bar she still had clutched in her hand and tossed it towards him. I t hit the ground halfway then rolled the rest of the way stopping just in the light of the street.
"Fine, I'm sorry." Jay looked away from the person and rustled her wings slightly behind her back,"my name is Jay. I don't want to steal but I have no other choice to get food."
Fidget hopped from one of Jay's shoulders to the next then cocked his head,"My name is Fidget." he tweeted.

"Well now see that wasn't so hard was it?" His voice was dark yet friendly. His wings flapped in rhythm with her own as he lowered himself to the ground again. His coat hung a mere inch from the ground as he turned to his right to look back to Jay the street lamp over head hit his hair and the purple streaks seemed to stand out more. He smiled at her and held out his right hand in friendship. "Come with me I may not live in a mansion but I have food and shelter for the night." again his wings flapped as they eagerly awaited his ascension into the sky once more.

Jay looked over to Fidget wondering if they should trust this guy.
"well, he says he has food." Fidget offered.
"Yeah, and you would trade your wing for a piece of ginger bread." Jay replied, she looked but at the stranger cocking her head at the person hovering in front of her.
"Alright, well go with you, but we're keeping a distance between ourselves for saftey reasons." Jay leaned down and picked up her iron bar and fit it back in her belt loop. "If we find out your tricking us, I will smash your head in."
"lovely Jay, just go ahead and threaten our new friend." fidget sighed, he turned to the bird kid with black wings,"sorry she's not usually like this, she's just been really uptight for uh, certain reasons."
"Fidget he's not our friend yet, we don't even have a name from him yet." Jay reminded him, looking the black winged person up and down for the first time completely.

"Names Mimic, so Fidget you guys have seen some rough days I take it?" Mimic lept into the air and lifted off slowly. He turned back a bit to check on Jay and Fidget. "Come on you two its just over this way about 2 blocks." He smiled and took towards the direction. He flew casually to ensure he did not lose the two followers. "Hey you two keep an eye on them make sure they don't get lost." His two crows took flight and hovered between the gap shared with Jay and Mimic. The air was getting cooler and a gentle breeze had begun to blow. "Nice now we can just glide there." Mimic said as he took to a higher plain and then dove into a barrel roll. his wings spread ful spanned as the black thick feathers caught the breeze and shot him back up to his original height in the sky after finishing his barrel roll and he continued to glide towards his home.

He looked down and landed on the rooftop of a small abandoned building. It wasn't much to look at but it had everything he needed inside. He awaited Jay and her friend as he watched his Crow friends circling in the sky above.

Mimic shook his head and chuckled a bit. "Of course there is a fridge this whole place is fully furnished but was abandoned for some reason." He turned to the roofs stair way door. His wings folded back underneath his clothing and opened the door then motioned for her to follow. "This way to the food."

Jay looked around as she entered, almost expecting a giant bird cage to drop on her any second, but Fidget flew around almost completly carelessly. Jay had to refrain from yelling at him for letting his guard down so fast around a stranger. She looked around and stood near a couch and cast another quick look around the place.
"Uh, sorry I was so short tempered earlier." Jay said as she looked around for the fridge, almost as if the apology would suddenly make it appear. "we've just been having some hard times recently."

Mimi smiled as he watched the tiny bird Fidget fly around the room almost in awe. As he watched Jay he shook his head as she apologized. "There is no need for an apology times are hard and I to have problems trusting people." Mimic walked through the living room area and made a left turn into the kitchen.

"By the way the fridge is over here." He figured they must be hungry and that it was the sole reason they came in the first place. After he opened the fridge he pulled out some lunch meat , swiss cheese and bread. "Im going to have a sandwich feel free to eat what you want. there are many fruits, veggies and all kinds of things. I have juice, milk, water and soda to drink. And in the freezer you will find hot pockets, ice and caramel sundae ice cream." He smiled and shut the fridge then turned to the counter behind him and made his food.

"If thats not sufficient then over the cupboard." He pointed to the left where the cupboard stood between the wall and some cabinets. "Its packed with can goods, more drinks and a good amount of junk food like chips and cookies ect."

Jay followed him into the kitchen and looked around, "wait, everything was just here? huh, some one got lucky." Jay went over to the cupboards and pulled out a bag of chips, glad she had a chance to eat some thing of her choice instead of running in and grabbing what ever she could find and running as fast as she cold out again.
She popped the bag open and laid a small hand full of chips on the counter and Fidget flew over and began to peck at the chips happily.
"So, how is it you found this place?" Jay questioned as she grabbed some chips from the bag.

Mimic smiled then laughed a bit. "All the equipment was here I bought the food. I know I do not look rich but trust me I have a few things I do for the government that keeps me well supplied." After finishing his meal he walks around to the couch to have a seat. Leaning forward to grab the remote of the coffee table in front of him his cape falls forward around his body and soon his hair follows folding around his face.

With a click he turns on a small 37 inch tv which sat on a black stand with 2 glass doors. He brought up the guide channel and sat back then brushed his hair back with his free hand. As he flipped through the stations he was mumbling a bit
to himself. "Seen it, seen it, boring, boring....... OMG I love this movie!" With that he flipped the station to a horror movie called Return of the Living Dead 3. He re-adjusted himself on the couch and sat awaiting his movie to start. his wings unfolded a bit and hung resting upon the sofa gently.

Jay swallowed fast as she heard the words "work for the government" come out. Those words where always a bad for her, maybe she was paranoid but she was sure they where not a group a bird kid wanted to get mixed up with. She coughed a few times as the potato chip splintered in her throat then swallowed again, "uh, what kind of work?" her voice came out hoarse and squeeky so she wasn't surprised that he hadn't heard it.
She walked up by the other end f the couch the side closest o the door, and asked again, "uhm, what kind of work do you do?" she asked, her wings shifting against her back as she eyed the exit in case it was a bad answer like "recruit for the military" or something like that.

"Want something to drink?" He stood and moved to the fridge. after removing a glass from the cabinet over head he opened the fridge door and pulled out a 2 liter bottle of Pepsi. "You know you should be careful when you eat you could hurt yourself." He chuckled a bit as he retrieved his own glass and poured them both a drink.

"What about your little friend what does he eat? Or is he not hungry?" He turned swiftly and his cloak whipped around quickly and resettled just around the tops of his shoulders. With an out stretched hand he handed Jay the drink and moved around to retake his position back on the couch so he could continue his movie.

"As for my work I do some odd jobs for them. Things like cleaning up the messes they have made. But I have my own hidden agenda. They do not know who I really am just that they call me X and I get the job done." He smiled and shook his head. "Last week I had to take down some huge monster made of some mixture of chemicals and blood. It was rather nasty but its to be expected when they fool around with things they do not understand and do not have proper protection"
