Light comes and goes. Days, weeks, months and years pass as quickly as seconds to a minute. Thus that be what happens to one who has been cursed with immortality. Lilith quietly watches the night darken into the late early hours of day. "Day... Amusing to call such an early hour that. Day" She quietly mutters this word over and over again, each time sounding more deformed and odd. Soon the word itself seemed to have a weird offtaste about her lips, smiling at the irony of this she quits repeating the word. Once more she watches the world around her disappear into the shadows, knowing full well that the light of day would soon take over the glory that is night.
Somewhere deep within the castle a soft shuffling sound is heard. She turns to the sound echoing in the hall and patiently awaits another sound before venturing out to find the cause of the noise. Hearing it again, she turns to the candle at the farthest part of the room. Narrowing her eyes and pursing her lips together lightly, she gently blows to the flame and smiles as it flickers and disappears. “Mmm these lips be deadly.” Then feeling a bit silly she continues, “Or be the scent of breath that killed the light.” Giggling to herself, she makes her way into the black darkness of the hall and walks it slowly, singing to herself. “Might the light dissipate and escape mine own despair.. Might the night dark and cold flee from me so fair.. “ Stopping her silly tune, she sighs softly once more before continuing. “Might oneself be a bit arrogant and lofty in view that they forget the moon be thy sun… Aye.. Lilith m’ dear. You be that arrogant fool.”
Groaning out of mere boredom, she lightens her steps and daintily dances toward the ongoing noise. Without a thought she calls out merrily. “M’dear! Afraid I am that the world has ceased to exist without ones own… “ She stops and looks at the person before her surprised. Her eyes and body taken aback a bit from this being before her. Repulsed and dissatisfied with herself for letting her guard down, she angrily hisses to herself silently, “How can you not know who this be? You silly fool.. Let your guard down momentarily and this be thy reward. I have been found”
